Malaysian ISP, TMNET/STREAMYX are blocking default port 25 for outgoing mail server due to network spamming issue encountered by the ISP.

The announcement was made last year and will take effect 15 Jan 2008. Please read below:

Therefore, all TMNET/STREAMYX users are required to change their outgoing mail port

Old Port: 25 (mail.your-domain.com)
New Port: 587 (mail.your-domain.com)

(1) Using MS Outlook Express
Tools > Accounts > Properties > Advanced Tab

Tools > E-mail Accounts > View/Change Existing Accounts > Change > More Settings

Please remember to enable outgoing e-mail authentication.

Non TMNET/STREAMYX ISP users may continue to use default port 25 as outgoing mail server port as usual.
